Pretty sure mixing anything with candy and sweets is a good thing. But then adding in amazing styling, a gorgeous dress and Amy Atlas, and it is pretty much a recipe for success. Check out this photo shoot from Sarah Klassen and Haute Design.
I tell all of my brides and grooms, the most important part about a wedding it to make it personal and have fun with it. A wedding should reflect the couples tastes and interest, and of course the wedding should be fun. It is a party after all, and there is nothing fun about a boring wedding. This UK wedding from Frenchie & Flea, is exactly what I am talking about. The flags, the rain boots, classic cars and buses, everything, it's just so much fun!
This weekend, Taylor'd Events will be sponsoring a team in the Great 8th Annual Kickball Tournament! All of the proceeds go towards supporting Mountain Adventure Tours and Sun Valley Adaptive Sports. Both amazing programs, check them out. If you are in the Ketchum area, stop by Hemingway Park and support team, "Party in the USA"!!! If nothing else you will see a bunch of locals having a great time and making huge fools of ourselves!
I have a serious case of a sweet tooth going on here. And these pictures are not doing anything to help. I wish I had a bit of all of them right now!! But how much fun would all of these be at an event?
Continuing on with my quest fro great places to register for your wedding, I bring you Blissliving Home. A friend of mine has one of these wool throws on her couch, and it is so yummy. Check out some of the things I would like to have.
I know that when I get married, I am going to have the absolute hardest time finding a wedding dress. There are so many out there that I would love to have. Why can't brides just change ten times during the wedding, it would solve all the problems of choosing. Here are a couple of my favorites that I have seen lately.
This last weekend, Carrie and Mike got married up in Stanley, Idaho. They had a beautiful intimate wedding, and Carrie was nice enough to ask me to do her flowers. I was not in town to see the final set-up of the wedding, but Hillary Maybery, of course got the best pictures ever. And I cannot write this with out saying thank you to Sarah, the newest member of my staff who made all of this happen, you are the best!
Check out this photo shoot from 100 Layer Cake. I love the entire look and the little details, like the ring box place cards, are so fabulous. One thing to remember when you are having a very small wedding: is the time to have fun with really great small details. But even for big weddings, the ribbon on the napkins would be a very nice and easy touch.
I will be the first to admit that I am a total dork with how much I love looking at houses. I would be content with driving around all day and just looking at the exterior of houses in cool places, and if i get to go inside even better. I have found one of the coolest places to look at houses is Charleston, South Carolina. There is so much history in the houses, but not only that, people have absolutely no fear of color. So my goal one of these days is to do a great wedding in one of these houses. And since Charleston is the #2 location in the country for the most weddings, my dream might not be that far off. So check out some of the houses I liked....
