Notebook Inspired

Find me someone who doesn't love the movie The Notebook, maybe one of the best movies ever!  It still makes me cry every time I watch it.  So of course when I saw this engagement shoot on Green Wedding Shoes I was super excited. Check out exactly what I mean....

Real Wedding: Carolyn and Ross

I gave you all a sneak peak of this wedding a couple weeks ago, my good friends Ross and Carolyn got married in Carolyn's parents back yard.  I was lucky enough to be one of the bridesmaids.  The extremely talented Kirsten Shultz, photographed the wedding.  The following pictures are more of the wedding party, but details will follow soon.  Enjoy......

Yes, in Ketchum Coors Light is essential to any wedding.  It is the unofficial drink of the town!

Simple and Elegant

I love, love, love this wedding from Snippet & Ink.  It is so simple and elegant, and it makes me wish we didn't always have to use tents here in Ketchum.  The large farm tables and the hanging chandeliers, are just the best!

Real Wedding: Katie and Rick

Once again I had a fantastic wedding this past weekend.  The weather was perfect, the location was spectacular, and the bride and groom were so much fun.  I really enjoyed this wedding because we got to do a few things that I rarely get to do.  Mainly we used the clear tent, which always looks cool in the mountains and we got to do fun free form arrangements in mason jars.  Katie really wanted a wild flower feel and one that matched the landscaping of her mother's home.

The wedding took place at the Z Heart Ranch, the property owned by Katie's parents.  Ck's Restaurant  catered and as always the food was out of this world.

The party was great fun, the guests danced all night to the best band ever Marmalade Hill.  Hillary Maybery, the talented photographer caught all of the great fun on film.  And how cool is this clear tent??
