Wedding Invitations on a Budget

Weddings can be an extremely expensive endeavor, and for many brides, budget is a very big deal.  So when you are dealing with a tighter budget, its always great when you can find a way to save money on different things.  One of those places you can save a lot of money is with Paper Source.  This company makes really great invitations for a great price.  And not only that, they have a lot of different styles to choose from.  And they certainly don't just do weddings.  They are a great place to find invitations for all types of parties, fun wrapping paper, and gifts just to name a few things.  Check out their website and see what they have. Here are some of the invitations I like.

Mika78 Letterpress

Mika78 is my favorite new wedding stationary.  They have really beautiful designs, but the part I love the most is that she lines the envelops.  I know this sounds kind of random, but it really makes a huge difference.  I have a couple who had their envelopes lined with the date and location over and over again, and it looked so cool.  In fact it was the first time an envelope made it onto my big board of invitations.  I guess I should just show you what I mean.

Time to Save the Date

Continuing on with my theme of newly engaged couples, it is time to send out your Save-the-Dates if you plan on getting married this summer. This is especially important if your wedding is a destination wedding. You don't need to include tons of information, just your names (pretty obvious), the date (hence the name) and the location of the town the wedding is in. And if you have started a wedding web site that is a good thing to include too. You can wait for all of the things like location of the ceremony and reception and times for the actual invite. So on that note, here are some great Save-the-Date examples.

It Happened in Sun Valley....

I came across these vintage posters and thought they would make great Save-the-Date announcements. Now if I could only find them in postcard size.....

Butterfly Designs

This summer I was incredibly lucky to share a booth at our local Farmer's Market, with my friend Michelle Castle. I filled our booth with fresh cut flowers and Michelle brought her beautiful stationary and greeting cards. Michelle is one of the most talented people I know when it come to designing greeting cards, stationary, wedding invitations, and just about any other paper product you can come up with. Michelle's company, Butterfly Designs, is based here out of Sun Valley, But she has shipped her work all over the county.

I, not only was fortunate to be Michelle and her husband, Joe's, wedding planner and florist, but I have gotten to work with Michelle on many other events. In fact Michelle even designed my logo for my business. So I thought I would share with you a couple pictures of Michelle's work with you. And be sure to visit her web site where you can order all of her great paper products.
